My product incorporates bar code scanning using a Symbol P370 connected via serial port. Unfortunately, the P370 is a 1-dimensional bar code scanner and many of the products being scanned are coming in with 2-dimensional bar codes. My product also extensively uses the keypad found on the scanner itself. You can't get a 2-dimensional scanner with a keypad (from Symbol) without getting a mobile computer. So now I'm evaluating PocketBuilder 2.5 on a Symbol MC70 and development is rather st… Continue

I once went to a Mensa monthly meeting. It was twenty people standing around not talking to each other. The guest speaker canceled. There was no food. It was a half hour of nothing. I was frustrated in knowing that people needed help-- help that I was capable of giving-- but not being free to provide that help. And I realized that I was not alone. The Sybase newsgroups host a community, but for a community, th… Continue

Thanks for the welcome! It's great of you to start this initiative, this site will complement the official groups very well. I will help as much as I can.
Would it be alright to cross-blog Kodigo topics here? Or should I limit topics to PB in general?
Cheers
